Dunnage Drops

Why not hike into camp, without the backpack? See how much more there is to see in the Sierra, without the added weight! We'll take in your gear to your destination of choice, while you sightsee on our scenic trails. You may choose one or two way service....it's up to you!
Let us do the work, with our popular "Backpacker Boost". We take your pack over the more strenuous portion of the trip, to the top of Bishop Pass. We'll meet you there! You pay only for the dates of service involving Packer and stock use. The length of your stay does not affect the price of your trip!

When booking a dunnage drop with Rainbow Pack Outfitters, we will reserve the required Wilderness Permits for your overnight stay in the backcountry. The permits are available up to 6 months in advance, on a first come first serve basis, and are highly regulated per USFS policy. Once a reservation has been made, your Wilderness Permits will be available to you at the pack station, on the morning of your trip. So what are you waiting for? Get those hiking boots on, and reserve your trip today!
